Question 1

What Developer Tools does TwexAPI offer?

Accepted Answer

TwexAPI Developer Tools at https://twexapi.io/developer-tools cover Grok, replies, reposting users, followers, account regions, media, authorized publishing, long-form articles, trends, quoted content, communities, Markdown conversion, and paid-promotion detection. Most tools run after sign-in and consume account Credits. New accounts receive 20,000 starting Credits, so teams can inspect public data before integrating the REST API.

Question 2

Do I need an API key to use Developer Tools?

Accepted Answer

Developer Tools does not require you to paste an API key into each form, but it does require a TwexAPI sign-in. Tool runs consume account Credits. New accounts receive 20,000 starting Credits; for recurring public-data collection or an authorized-account integration, use a Bearer API key with the endpoints documented at docs.twexapi.io.

Question 3

What use is prohibited in Developer Tools?

Accepted Answer

Developer Tools may not be used to purchase engagement, create fake traffic, send spam or unsolicited direct messages, or violate platform rules. Public-data research and any authorized-account action must follow the TwexAPI Acceptable Use Policy at https://twexapi.io/acceptable-use.

Question 4

How do I export Twitter followers to Excel or CSV without coding?

Accepted Answer

Use the Twitter Follower Exporter at https://twexapi.io/tools/export-twitter-followers. Enter any public @handle, select Followers or Following, and click Fetch to preview and download clean spreadsheets with user IDs, names, bios, and profile links.

Question 5

How can I check a Twitter account’s real country or location?

Accepted Answer

Use the Twitter Location Finder at https://twexapi.io/tools/twitter-location-finder. It analyzes public account signals and posting activity patterns to detect country, state, and timezone in real-time, helping audit influencers and filter out bot networks.

Question 6

Can I search Twitter historical tweets by date without an account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Visit https://twexapi.io/tools/twitter-search-by-date. Select your start date and end date, enter keywords or usernames, and search historical public tweets without logging into personal Twitter credentials. Full CSV export is supported.

Question 7

Can I export public account followers with starting Credits?

Accepted Answer

Use the Followers & Following Export at https://twexapi.io/tools/export-twitter-followers after sign-in. Runs consume account Credits, including the 20,000 starting Credits issued to new accounts. For recurring jobs, switch to the documented REST API and estimate Credits from the selected endpoint.

Question 8

How do Developer Tools relate to the paid TwexAPI?

Accepted Answer

Developer Tools provides interactive browser forms for individual workflows after sign-in; runs use account Credits. The TwexAPI REST API supports production integrations with Bearer authentication and plan-specific Credits and QPS. Teams can inspect public-data output in Developer Tools, then implement a documented, lawful integration through the API.
