Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted use

You may use TwexAPI for lawful research, analytics, monitoring, software development, and other legitimate purposes. Any action taken through an account workflow must be for an account you are authorized to use and must comply with the applicable platform rules and law.

Prohibited use

You must not use TwexAPI, or enable another person to use TwexAPI, to:

• Purchase, sell, provide, or facilitate likes, views, follows, reposts, bookmarks, or replies that are not authentic and independently earned.
• Generate, procure, or direct fake traffic, synthetic engagement, deceptive account activity, or misleading performance signals.
• Send unsolicited, bulk, repetitive, deceptive, or harassing direct messages, including messages sent without the recipient consent or another lawful basis to contact that person.
• Use unauthorized credentials, sessions, or account access; submit credentials for an account that you do not own or have explicit authority to operate.
• Use automation that violates platform rules, rate limits, controls, or applicable law, including attempts to bypass safety, access, or anti-abuse controls.
• Collect, retain, disclose, or use data in a way that violates privacy, intellectual-property, consumer-protection, sanctions, export-control, or other applicable requirements.

Account and credential controls (BYOC Policy)

TwexAPI provides stateless automation middleware. For account write actions (posts, DMs, likes), users must authenticate using their own Twitter session credentials. TwexAPI does not provide, sell, or manage third-party accounts.

User Responsibility: When invoking write endpoints, you must possess lawful authorization to operate the target account and assume full responsibility for the compliance and legality of all published content. Do not share credentials, evade authentication requirements, or use credentials obtained from another person.

Ephemeral Execution: User-supplied session credentials (such as auth_token or session cookies) are active solely within the transient lifecycle of a single HTTP proxy request and are released immediately upon execution. TwexAPI does not persist, record, or store third-party credentials.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, restrict usage, suspend or terminate accounts, revoke Credits, and preserve relevant records. We may cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities and platform providers where required or appropriate.
